My wife and I ate lunch today in the bar area. Only one server to cover the bar and tables in the bar. (The server had someone running her food) When we sat down at the bar there were several areas that had dirty plates and needed to be bussed. These dirty plates were still there when we left. The entire bar area was filthy! The manager came to the bar twice and never acknowledged the mess or the customers sitting at the bar. By looking at him he definitely did not want to be at work today. Our server was just ok. We watched her pour a glass of tea and touch the tea pitcher to the cup! She never checked on us, we continuely had to get her attention while she was doing nothing. We ordered the Pedro- Shrimp enchiladas. The cheese was hard and not melted. Everything else was mediocre.
Love love love Posados!! I went there for dinner last night and despite the restaurant's busy night the manager, Jose, came over twice to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our experience. Great friendly atmosphere. I got the chicken enchiladas with cheese sauce and they were so good. My friend got fajitas and they said theirs were great as well! We will definitely be coming back!
This establishment never disappoints us ! The food is great, especially the tortilla soup ! The place is bright and clean and relaxing... The staff is the friendliest and very attentive. And free sopapillas and ice cream for dessert ! This is my absolute favorite Tex-Mex in Lufkin.
