Floors N More renovated our home after a flood we had just before Christmas, 2016. After the water remediation, I was interviewing contractors for renovation. I did not realize that Floors N More even did renovations. I contracted them about flooring through their website and Steven Larsen called me. Within an hour they had Steve Powell measuring the job for a bid. We ended up accepting their bid and they were able to begin work immediately. Steve and Jared and their crew were great. It was a big job and they worked quickly to help us get back in to our house as quickly as possible. The house looks awesome now. Even better than before the flood. Thank you, Floors N More!

Day 1 Monday: FloorsNMore sub-contracted tile work with Adam Harvey Flooring out of Huntington, TX.  They showed up at my house around 10am, 2 hours late, with just 2 guys. Adam, of Adam Harvey Flooring, the installer, tells me that did not get notification of the job until Sunday night, night before. Then he said he had to go to FloorsNMore on Monday Morning when they opened to pick up all the material. I then talked with Adam and walked the house and showed him all the areas for the tile. He then proceeds to tell me it is going to take 3 days to do this work. I told him, no you need to bring in more than just you and one other person, I need this done in 2 days. While one guy worked on sanding my floors, Adam spent more time outside on his phone then working in my home. Day one ends at 7pm with all my wet areas sanded, but one bathroom, and my dining room tiled. I called FloorsNMore and asked for the owner, Kevin, and told him of the problems I have had so far. Day 2 Tues: Adam, Adam Harvey Flooring, comes back at 8am with 2 helpers this time. We discuss what still needs to be done and with the help he has and the tile job is going to take a 3 day. Kevin, owner of FloorsNMore comes out to look at the work. We talk and I tell him I am going to have to take another day off of work, which my employer told me and would have to use a vacation day, 2nd vacation day I am having to use for what was supposed to be a 2 day job. Kevin agrees to give me something back for my troubles. Day 2 ends at 7pm with all wet areas tiled except 1 full bath and half bath.Day 3 Wed: Adam, Adam Harvey Flooring shows back up at 8am with 2 helpers. They finish tiling the two areas and do the grout work back through all areas. At 7pm, they pick up their tools and leave. Problems, the areas where they worked, required them to sand the concrete, they left all those areas covered in dust from the sanding. I call Kevin and tell him of them leaving my house like it was. Kevin states the best he can do is send a cleaning crew out to my house on Saturday, 2 days later. Did I mention we live in the home?  Day 4 Thurs: Problem number 2, on all the cabinets at the bottom grout was just left all over them and the corners where caked on grout, some places 2 inches high and 1 inch thick. If you are standing you can not see any of this. SO, how did we notice them, well when they hooked up the washing machine back, they forgot to put the drain hose back in the wall. So my wife starts a late load in the wash and goes and lays down to watch tv, hour later comes back to put the load in the dryer and the laundry room, kitchen, and a bathroom is flooded with water. We spend the next hour cleaning up the water. That's when we notice the terrible work left under the cabinets. I make yet another call to Kevin about this, he offers to bring a wet vac and fans out that night. We already cleaned up the mess though by this time. Problem 3 then occurs, Sales Rep from FloorsNMore calls me at 530-6pm and lets me know my carpet did not come in like it was supposed to and they need to reschedule my carpet install for next week, I have already set up for this and used a vacation day for this.  I call Kevin yet again and tell him I don't care how he gets the carpet here, but you will install this carpet on Friday. Day 5 Friday: Problem 4 occurs, all the base boards where the flooding happened are swelling out.  Another call yet to Kevin. Kevin, Carpet, carpet installers, cleaning lady and another guy show up to my home at 2pm. Kevin talks with the cleaning lady and I tell her everything that I want done. The other guy was there to look at the base boards and build a plan. He then tells me he will be back on Tuesday next week to replace base boards. Everyone leaves except 2 guys to lay the carpet. These two have been the best thing so far and stay until 1130pm and lay all the carpet for the house. Three bedrooms and the living room. Day 6 Saturday: Lady plus one show up and clean the house, worked from 930am until 5pm.
