Carolyn Cerbo is a trusted friend of 5 or 6 years that I know to be a caring professional who is passionate about her work in the areas of nutrition/naturopathy and massage therapy ("orthopedic bodywork").
My name is John. I am 66 years old and I TRY to enjoy a 2 mile walk 3 or 4 times a week. About a year and a half ago muscle cramps started developing in my lower back and legs which at times were so bad that walking two miles was just not possible. I would get about 1/4 mile into my walk start cramping up and have to cut the walk short.
Back in 2010, I had been helping my dad brush hog his land, in which I had to twist and turn backwards, a lot. After returning home my neck and shoulder area became stiff and hard to move. Over time, I had to turn my whole body to look behind me when driving. Very painful. My chiropractor worked on me many times, even trying decompression. With little relief. A knot developed in between my shoulder blades. I went to Carolyn Cerbo for help. With her theraphy she was able to remove the pain and corrected my problem. Amazing. I was so very thankful.

I am so glad we did! After completing the second session I am experiencing a whole new level of Pain Free! When I walk now it is like every muscle in my body is flowing together. a. Scheduled me an appointment about 2 weeks out. It was 2 weeks out because we are both busy people.

Presently, I have been having problems with a degenerative hip. MRI and exrays show bone on bone. Medical doctors keep telling me I need hip replacement. Today, through Carolyn Cerbo's orthopedic body work I have been able to get off crutches and walk again with almost no pain. Carolyn's naturopathic help will hopefully help me to restore my hip naturally through nutrition at the cellular level, as well as continued therapy to support pain relief, strength restoration, and stimulate my bones to rejuvenate through resistance exercise and more. Today, I achieved to new strength level that is very encouraging. It was very difficult to lift my leg prior to Carolyn's help. When trying to lift my leg, my heart would raise and be too painful to continue. I walked in with a cane, but walked out not needing it today. I have come along a long way. I highly recommend her before surgery or more extreme measures. She does many various things, like breast massage, that took away fibrotic lumps from my breast tissue. It may sound strange, but it was a dramatic change.
For a day or two after the first session I had some muscle soreness, which was expected, but was able to complete my walks without cramping up. However, I continued following Carolyn's instructions - taking the Epson salt baths and exercising.
Carolyn was pleased with the improvement but suggested that we go on with the session anyway explaining that a cumulative effect can be achieved through multiple visits close together.
b. Suggested I try Epsom Salts baths in the mean time, which I did and the baths helped some.
c. Showed me some exercises to do at home on my own.
I just had the most amazing massage. I went to see Carolyn Cerbo with knee pain, stiff neck, shoulder and back pain. She worked on all the areas. When I left I was felling wonderful. Carolyn truly knows stuff. I have traveled around the world and have had various types of massage in the countries I have visited. None can compare to Carolyn. When I went in for my second session with Carolyn I told her "Ya fixed my body!", I have been pain free for almost 2 weeks and I am walking without cramping up.
Today I will estimate my pain to be a 5 on the 1 to 10 scale. She explained to me that it would require additional visits to help relieve the tightness I have acquired over the past years from a job where I did a lot of sitting. I love, love, love Carolyn Cerbo's massage therapy. There are truly not enough stars to rate the excellent service she provides. Lufkin is truly blessed to have her in this area. I will continue this review at a later time, when I have more time. This is not nearly enough of what I want to say about Carolyn.
b. Identified and correctly diagnosed my problems!
I have trouble with pain in my lower back, hips,thighs, and it seems to be moving lower now below the knees. I visited Carolyn yesterday and the pain was much improved after the appointment.
Okay, I'd like to add a bit more about Carolyn's wonderful work...She is very knowledgeable about how the body functions and how our muscles work. If you are having pain of any kind such as a "catch" in your shoulders, lower back pain, leg pain, neck pain, wrist pain, etc., Carolyn can definitely help you. Digestion or weight issues? Carolyn can educate you and offer solutions for these problems also. She is very professional, respectful of your privacy, and tops off this with encouragement. This lady is a joy to be around and will treat you like you have known each other for a long time. May God continue to bless and expand her work and ministry to this area. As I've said before, but not often enough, she is a true blessing to the Lufkin area.
Initially I did not go to Carolyn with my problem because her practice is about 90 miles from my home. Instead I used a massage therapist in my area who worked specifically on the muscle or muscle groups that were bothering me. This worked short term but in a few weeks I would find myself back on her table again.
