I requested a 10 X 30 unit and moved everything in on the 29th. The manager at the storage unit came out while we were unpacking and provided us with cold ice water which was very much appreciated and made sure we had everything we needed.

I chose trailwood storage because I assumed a newer establishment would be clean and more modern. I did mostly everything online and selected autodraft which made the payment go from 160 to 125 a month. The price is too high for what they offer. One day, I stopped by my unit to pick up some things and I encountered a black widow spider and her eggs, not only in the unit but also on the keypad that grants you access inside. I informed the receptionist and she offered to bring in an exterminator and she also gave me one month of free rent. I decided to leave trailwood because I'm still finding spiders and other bugs throughout my things. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't come across another deadly spider while unpacking. I understand that climate controlled doesn't mean the same as the temperature in your home but my unit was always humid and I found a lot of my things ruined due to exposure to humidity. As far as customer service goes, the staff was always prompt when I had an issue and never made me feel like I was a nuisance. I only have this argument because I've had several climate controlled storage units and none ever with these issues. I feel that with some improvements trailwood storage would be a great option as far as self storage goes.
I have had three units with Trailwood Storage for the last year. My experience has been amazing. It is the nicest, well-kept facility that I encountered in my search. I was relieved to find the high security and a staff that truly treats your contents like they are protecting their own things. Very accessible and such a great location to boot. Thanks to everyone there!
