The GM called me today. He has made an offer that has made me very happy. So with much gratitude I'm changing my rating from from a one star to a five star. We'll see how his offer of extended service works out..
on or about June 19, 2017, I brought my 2003 Tacoma in to have the air fixed and check for a rattle coming from the rear of the truck. I was told by the service rep. that it would a fee of 120.00 to check the truck . that would give me what the total cost of the repairs needed. thought that was a little high but to him to go ahead do it. He said that covered 1hrs of labor. he called about one-half hr later and told me, to fix the air it would be 1749.00 to fix the air and I had to take the service tech for a ride so he could hear the rattling sound. I did say why so much? Your service said it would take 8hrs of labor to fix the air. Had to take the dash out to replace the heat to air valve and the evaporator. I declined the repair and pick up the truck and was charged the 120.00 plus 10.00 for work rags. How in the world did the tech get his hands dirty, he didn't do anything. I'm surprised that Y'all are not charging for the TP that the service tech uses.
A couple of weeks ago I took my truck to the Car Doctor in Nacogdoches. The labor was one & a half hrs and the total was 649.00 Didn't have to replace the control valve ( it was working) didn't have to take the dash out (just remove the glovebox to get to the evaporator.
Had my A/C system replaced. They done great work very satisfied.

Car dealerships are all the same the staff is the difference. Some of the staff was nice but others you could tell didn't really want to spend much time with you.

Now to the noise rattle in the back. If your service tech would have done his job and put my truck on a lift and got some of those rags dirty Y'all charged me for he could have seen what was wrong. the shackles that hold the rear end on were loose and one nut was missing. Do you what could have happened going down the road @ 70MPH and that rear end came loose. I think I have liggett complaint to go to the state board. what say you...
