It's Wal-Mart, it's great as always. The staff is always super helpful and mostly friendly, their knowledge lacks a bit every now and again but maybe I just always get the new guy. Definitely not complaining though, even if they don't know something they still help me look.
It felt like 102°f in the parking lot but those basket handlers were smiling and at the ready to help load a customer's purchases into their cars. This store is big and at mid day was filled with shoppers. Everything is good and it shows,
When you don't have enough registers open there's going to be long lines. The store doesn't keep the shelves stocked and sometimes you can't find what you need. Some if the Sales Associates are rude, especially the evening and night ones, and a few walk around with their pants sagging and acting ghetto. Honestly the store was managed and run alot better when Mike Scott was store manager.
For years I've been grocery shopping at Walmart, and while I won't change grocery stores simply because there aren't really any better options, there are many frustrations I have. I go every Monday morning at 7am, and during this time, there are many stockers in the aisles. Which is annoying, but understandable. At the same time, there are those aggravating floor cleaners that I swear, CHASE YOU with the machines on purpose!! Not even kidding! The smell of the floor cleaner is revolting as well, and while I don't have asthma, it feels like I do when they pass by me. I get there aren't many people in the store at that time, but you'd figure they'd do that stuff earlier in the morning, or at like, 3am. While this stuff is all annoying, they do have the best prices in town and a wide variety of brands and products. Until we get a better HEB, I'm stuck shopping here.
1; the entire store was clean, displays neat, and the employees oops associates presented themselves as a team in their splat " * " vests. Everywhere I looked I could see a member of the team tending to the stores merchandise. It takes great management to have this kind of attitude and attention to detail so visible in the actions of the rank and file workers.
Usually my favorite place to go in emergency after hour situations. Always a good price for items to be purchased. Very supportive retail store in our community.
