Super nice helpful people clean room and very nice
I stayed in the Holiday Inn express yesterday after a long day of travel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. The room was good quality with nice amenities. Breakfast this morning was fresh with a great selection. Overall I had a pleasurable experience and would visit again if in the area.
The service was good and the hotel was beautiful. However, when I went to take a shower, there was quite a bit of long black hair plastered all over the shower. There were also several cobwebs around the room. Breakfast was pretty standard. Overall the experience was fine. I would probably stay here again.
The Holiday Inn Express in Lufkin never fails my expectations. The room was clean and welcoming a long with the bathroom. Front office staff greeted me with a smile and offered suggestions on what he could do to make my stay even better. Breakfast was great, we had 2 meats, eggs and other items to get you going. We love staying each time we visit lufkin.
Stayed for only one night and did not observe the fitness room or other amenities. Outdoor pool is present and appeared to be clean and appealing. Room was clean and acceptable. Water was lacking in the shower, both pressure and amount - none of the three settings on the shower head were able to provide a quality water supply. Water also had a "slimy" quality that was different enough to notice - almost as if soap was still on hands until toweled off. No amount of rinsing resolved it. Overall, a satisfactory experience. I would stay here again.
