Very caring staff. Excellent doctor, really cares about your pet and you. Clean facilities, up to date medical facility. Dr. Clarey is the most compasionate doctor I have ever been to and will reccomend him to everyone. He treats large and small animals.
Yesterday, I went to see about a injured cat....male kitten. He was stoic but not bleeding externally and had good heartbeat, so I went to one veterinarian and the vet was out all day.....so went to recommended alternative. ETVC and they said he was out until 2 p.m. I left the cat there in hopes it would receive urgent care. When I went back about 3 receptionist asked me to have a seat in waiting room. Several people came in with dogs that were treated and left. I was getting frustrated by 3:30 they called me into service room when vet came in and said the cat had septic shock and infected hind leg. They would give it iv's etc. and keep a day or so. So I left, but not until after they wanted a $350.00 deposit. Others wanted to donate to help as well. The next morning I call to check on the kitty and the receptionist said the vet would call me back. I feared the worst. He called back saying yes the cat didn't make it. Wanted another $65.00 for disposal fee.....told him I would come get the cat. Got there and voiced frustration over delay of cat's help and said I was trying to be nice. The vet called me in the service room and said I had "ulterior motives" (I had complained as well about offer of only $40.00 credited). It was NOT ALL ABOUT the $$$ and he asked why I waited 24 hours to complain.....well, the cat was alive when I took it there. Told him I would NEVER go back....got the cat, and left. UPDATE: The cat was heavier in the box it was in.....it had been frozen. These crooks REFUSED to return the $40.00. And HE said I was condescending and worried about the money. Thieves!!! Buried the poor kitty in back yard. He is free and with all the other pets we love in Heaven.
