This place is huge. Chips and salsa was great and the drinks came with this cute little sombrero. Had the tacos al carbon which was really good and the rice was a bit bland but it won't stop me from eatting it anyway. And they have a really cute kids door. Highly recommended.
Most bland, overpriced, underwhelming TexMex I've ever had. Definitely avoid their "green" avocado salsa, which is neither green nor tastes like avocado. The Tacos Al Carbon is, hilariously enough, actually a burrito. The restaurant uses unfiltered Lufkin tap water for its drinks, so the beverages all taste off. Asking for lemon with your water helps. They use a ton of salt in all their food. I heard a lady complaining about it as she was leaving, saying how the food was so salty, it triggered her angina. Lastly, their red salsa tastes like the Pace mild salsa from a jar, so if you get TexMex for the chips and salsa, this place is sure to disappoint.
The Real ice cream machine makes the perfect treat as you're walking out the door. Tasted great and wasn't ice milk gunk like other local restaurants serve. Yum!
Food is great, service is phenomenal. Best mexican food in town. Food came out so fast and every bite was delicious. Green sauce is awesome. Queso is perfect. Salsa is amazing. Recommend the Three Amigos meal. Superb.
Great food, decent prices, huge food portions. We love their new location with tons of seating. The staff and servers were friendly and fast. Everything was great! I love the little gift shop and even picked up a big bottle of Mexican vanilla for home baking. Yum!
The service is good. The food is quite average, nothing you can’t whip up rather quickly at home with minimal effort. Don’t expect to be wowed by a plate.
