Quality work done in a timely manner at a reasonable price... What else do you want?
This used to be the only place I'd go for all of my car needs but after this experience I will never go back!! First we found out that the mark up on their parts was ridiculously high (and I understand things get marked up for profit, but I'm talking they were buying the same part you could buy from a parts store in town and marking it up double). The person we talked to was not helpful, and then after we paid for our vehicle back and they were supposed to leave it out front they didn't! I will not go back, and it's a shame because I thought these were goodhearted people who did an amazing job.
We were driving through Lufkin at 4:45PM on the day before Thanksgiving headed to Arkansas for the holiday when we noticed our left front tire was making a terrible noise (as a result of some repair-work-gone-wrong we'd completed earlier the same day in Houston). Other mechanics we called for help in Lufkin all said they were tied up & couldn't help us. The great folks at Angelina Tire & Auto not only helped us determine the source of the horrible sound and fix it, but they did it VERY quickly and compassionately had us back on the road for our holiday trip within 20 minutes! They did all of this at a VERY FAIR price, and 15 minutes before their posted closing time. Amazing! 8)
